Creative Director/Art Director, laughter enthusiast
As a kid growing up in a small Texas town, Bo’s main influencers were cartoonists Charles M. Schulz, Berkeley Breathed, Bill Watterson and Gary Larson. They taught him to look at life from a different perspective. They taught him that the world is a very entertaining place. And most importantly, they taught him to laugh. Bo has applied those lessons over his 30-year career, which included stints at Point Communications, Publicis and 16 years at The Richards Group. Bo has worked on Hyundai, Motel 6, Johnson & Johnson, Verizon, Comcast, Russell Athletic, Zales, H-E-B, Central Market, Shamrock Farms, Nestle, TXU… and many other clients in different categories with their own wonderful and interesting challenges. 30 years of telling stories and getting his clients’ messages out into the universe, and he feels like he’s just getting started. Because when you do what you love, you never work a day. Advertising makes Bo smile.
Professional Not-So-Humble Brags:
Bo has been seated at many tables at many Award shows over the years. He’s even had his name called several times. The recognition feels good. The drink coupons feel pretty good too.
Interesting Cocktail Party Tidbits:
Bo and his wife met in the 5th grade. They were 10. He couldn’t take his eyes off of her. And 43 years later, still can’t.
Best plot twist (so far):
Best plot twist so far? His answer would have to be ginger. It’s always the one ingredient he didn’t see coming.
