Kevin Reid

Associate Creative Director & Designer, photographer/ninja

Backstory:

Kevin, the son of an “ad guy,” is a second-generation Art Director/Designer. He grew up spending most of his time taking art classes or shooting hoops in the backyard. His childhood dream job was to work at Nike designing shoes. After graduating from the University of North Texas, he began his career at Temerlin McClain in Dallas, working on the American Airlines account. He moved next to The Richards Group, where he spent more than 20 years working on a variety of clients including H-E-B, Central Market, Atlantis Resort, Jeep, Hyundai, Wyndham Hotels, Motel 6, The Home Depot, and lots more. Kevin loves to travel, having visited Prague, Vienna, Dublin, London, Madrid, Barcelona, Rome, Venice, and Florence (in the pre-kid days). He also enjoys photography and attending a lot of his daughter’s basketball games, where he takes a lot of action photos of her.

Professional Not-So-Humble Brags:

Kevin’s work has been featured in the One Show, Communication Arts, Lurzer’s Archive Magazine, PRINT’s Regional Design Annual, New York Festivals, ADDYs, and the Dallas Society of Visual Communications.

Didn’t try sushi until he was 26. Blames his parents.

Has not gotten a real haircut since the pandemic started.

His stock photos have been purchased by Best Buy, Walmart and Amazon.

Always sneezes twice when going into the sun.

Will only go to karaoke bars if he doesn’t have to sing.

Has had the same pet tortoise living in his backyard for 13 years.
